OUR RESTAURANT What makes our restaurant so special? The focus is certainly on our food, which you cannot prepare yourself at home. As we ourselves like to eat good and tasty Ethiopian food, our kitchen is a culinary journey through our home country. This taste definitely makes you want to come back. Then there is our way of welcoming the guests, our guests are also our friends and friends get only the best from us. It is important to us that you feel comfortable with us from the first moment. WHO WE ARE My family and I came to Germany almost 15 years ago. Since we are very connected to our homeland, we wanted to create something that gives our guests and us the most beautiful feeling of Ethiopia. In our opinion, the best way to do this is to eat well. Even as children, we all loved to watch our mother cook and also to help. We learned a lot from her. Later we also added our flavor notes. This is how we created unique specialties. We want to give joy through our food and our coffee ceremony and make our guests happy.

Located at the top end of Stanmore Village, housed in a historic building on Percival Road which was erected in 1907. The name Concettina ai Tre Santi comes from the shrine that rapresents tre saints just beside the entrance of the pizzeria. In 1984 Pietro Gagliardi initially worked in an ice cream parlor, gripped by the “passion for ice cream”, he started his own business in 1986 and bought an ice cream truck. From now on he was on the streets of the region with his ice cream specialties In 1989, after three successful years in “mobile ice cream”, he opened the Roma ice cream shop in Seligenstadt, which is well known throughout the region. Every day the ice cream was always freshly prepared by his brother Antonio with a lot of passion. Over the years, new types of ice cream, ice cream sundae, and satisfied customers have been added. Unfortunately, the popular “ice meeting” had to close its doors in October 2011 because the property was sold to a construction investor. In 2012 we, Antonio & Pietro Gagliardi, started producing ice cream as “GELATI GAGLIARDI GbR” and supply our well-tried and delicious ice cream to ice cream parlors and restaurateurs. Due to the great demand, we decided to open a store again in 2014 and are now very successful in Seligenstadt as EIS BAR ROMA! And you see: our small and successful ice story continues.
